Reading Mail
Click a thread in a message list to open it.
Thread view
Section titled “Thread view”The thread view shows the subject at the top and the messages in the thread below it. Opening a thread marks it as read.
For multi-message threads, click a message header to expand or collapse that message.
Message details
Section titled “Message details”When a message is expanded, the sender email appears next to the sender name. Click the info button to show or hide details such as:
- To
- Cc
- Date
- Message-ID
- In-Reply-To
- References
Message detail values can be selected and copied.
HTML and plain text
Section titled “HTML and plain text”HTML messages render in the message body. Plain-text messages show selectable text, and detected links are clickable.
If a message has no body content, SwiftMail shows No content.
Finding text in a message
Section titled “Finding text in a message”Press Command-F while reading a thread to open Find in message.
Type a search term, then use the up and down buttons to move between matches. Press Escape or click the close button to dismiss the find bar.
