Search

Use the search field in the main window toolbar to search Gmail.

Section titled “Run a search”
  1. Click the search field or use the system search focus.
  2. Enter a query.
  3. Press Return.

SwiftMail opens Search Results and shows matching threads. Plain search terms are highlighted in the thread rows. Gmail-style operators such as from: or to: can be included in the query.

Spam and Trash

Section titled “Spam and Trash”

By default, search results exclude Spam and Trash.

To include them, use the search scope control or the search options button and enable Include Spam & Trash.

Load more results

Section titled “Load more results”

If Gmail has more results, click Load More at the bottom of the search results list.

Section titled “Leaving search”

Clear the search field to return to the label or mailbox you were viewing before the search.
