Accounts and Settings

Open Settings from the app settings window to manage Gmail accounts and sidebar preferences.

Accounts

Section titled “Accounts”

The Accounts section lists every connected account. The current account is marked with a checkmark.

You can:

  • Click the plus button to add another Google account.
  • Click Switch next to another account to make it active.
  • Swipe an account row and choose Sign Out to remove that account from the app.

When you add or switch accounts, SwiftMail syncs the selected account before showing its mail.

Section titled “Sidebar preferences”

Settings includes two sidebar controls:

  • Show Important label in sidebar controls whether Important appears in the sidebar.
  • Show Starred category and actions controls whether Starred appears in the sidebar and whether star actions appear in thread lists and thread details.

Version

Section titled “Version”

The settings window shows the installed app version.
